This week's recipe is a Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich. It features creamy Brie cheese, tangy apples and a tangy-spicy apple-onion chutney. Not "spicy" as in "hot," but spicy as in cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg - all the delicious flavors of fall, with a pungent, creamy Brie added in (one of my FAVES!!!).
INGREDIENTS: 2 slices of sourdough bread 2 tablespoons softened Brie cheese (rind removed) 1 tablespoon apple and onion chutney 1 small Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced on a mandoline 2 teaspoons softened unsalted butter
